From the moment he set eyes on it, my 4-1/2 year old black cat fell in love with and plays with it multiple times a day. Even my 13 year old cat, who rarely plays with interactive toys, has played with it a few times. Basically, the Bamboozler’s long flexible attachment is made of a mesh-like plastic with a knot tied at the end to help prevent the mesh from unraveling - because it does unravel! And this is the only negative which landed it 4 stars instead of 5: the end does unravel a lot and you need to tie at least one extra knot behind the original knot. The end got so frayed I cut it off along with the original knot and it was like a brand new toy again - which my cat was even happier about (he prefers it without too much fraying). I will say the mesh-like Plastic is quite flexible and well-attached to the handle. I do consider this toy a success and would buy it again - I’m thinking of getting one for a friend’s cat - think it will last a long while, though it may get progressively shorter as I cut off the frayed ends and tie new knots. The other thing I like about this toy is it’s very safe. There are no choking pieces to come off and the flexibilite attachment has just enough stiffness that it would be nearly impossible for a cat to get entangled in it.

I love this toy...because my cats have a blast chasing it around and because it does not get destroyed when they catch it! Almost every other wand toy they have falls apart fairly soon after they get their paws on it. This one seems immune from that type of destruction. We got a fun bright green one that seems to glow. The stick is not overly short like on other wand toys. I will buy another at some point. 5 Stars.
