I ordered a box of food from CC and thought I’d throw in a catnip toy. I have two super lazy silver tabbies that prefer to play with boxes than toys, and in general, they aren’t impressed with catnip, but the toy was cute, so I bought it. The minute I took the toy out, both of them started chasing and pouncing on it. And when I put it away in their little toy box, I found one of my kitties digging for it! I think it’s the combination of the shape of the soft fleece toy and probably the catnip, but these two were quite entertained by it!

I didn't actually think my cat cared about catnip much. I brought this home because I thought she might like to chase it or chew on the ends. She's rolling around loving on it and rubbing her face on it. It's already covered with cat spit from her attentions. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship . . .
