I have purchased other stretch collars and have never been complete satisfied. Rec'd my order today. Quality is excellent. All three including a kitten don't even seem aware of the collars. Even though they are lightweight they are sturdy. I agree with a previous review that these collars should only be used on indoor cats. I will be telling all my cat loving friends to order. Also the array of colors makes it easy to fit a color to your cat.

I got the pink collar in anticipation for my Ragdoll kitten, a few months ago. It, obviously, was too big for her then, so I kind of had to tie it around itself a few times to keep the remaining part in good shape. I loved that it was stretchy, so it was safe and I actually liked the noise the bell made. I did have to throw this collar away, as when my kitten would drink, the dye would rub off of the collar and onto her fur, dying her fur. I assume the dye that was used was pet safe since she had had many self-grooming sessions on the dyed spot with no problem. Several baths later and it's still there. I would love to buy another one of these, but I'm afraid the same thing will happen!

I have been purchasing these collars for my female indoor cat here on TheCatConnection for six years now. I am very pleased with the collars for INDOOR use. My Son has Multiple Sclerosis and needs to hear our girl when she is running near him so he doesn't fall over her. I did change the bell to a more audible one to aid my Son's safety. We always know where she's coming from. As far as the cat being able to take the collar off, yes she can do that. But, I think a cat needs to be accepting of a collar and comfortable with it in order to wear it. Our cat only removes the collar when she is rolling around in a playful mood. She'll play with it, but then readily accepts us putting it back on her, she knows it's her special thing. I would recommend this collar for indoor use especially, not so much for outdoor use. Break away collars are always best for outdoor cats so there are no risks of strangulation if caught on anything. (Micro Chip your cats in case the collar is lost).
