The Cosmic Catnip Alpine Scratcher is made from cardboard, which has long been recommended as an economical scratcher that trains your cat to stay away from rugs and furniture. This scratcher features a reversible and replaceable corrugated cardboard scratching block treated with catnip to quickly grab your cat's attention. It has holes to allow your cat to sink his claws into the scratcher (instead of your furniture) to clean his claws and lets your kitty stretch as they scratch. Since most people do not have corrugated cardboard lying around the house, it quickly becomes the scratching post hot spot.
