The Budget Replacement Filters for the Drinkwell Pet Fountains are quick-change filters used to capture debris and filter water, keeping it clean and fresh for your pet. Filters should be changed every four to eight weeks depending on the size and number of pets using the fountain. Filters keep the water fresh.

The Budget Replacement Filters are the same as the Standard Replacement Filters without the private Drinkwell packaging. These filters come in a package labeled Blueline Aquarium Power Filter. These are the same great quality as the Standard Filters but without the Drinkwell specific package so we can pass the savings on to you.

Filters Three Ways:

Instructions for Replacement Fountain Filters for the Drinkwell Pet Fountains:
Remove the housing cover and insert the filter cartridge down into the well in the housing. It fits in the well diagonally. The bottom of the filter is more narrow than the top and the black side faces outward (toward the spout). If the fit is too tight, it is either in upside down or in the wrong groove at the front (move it back one groove). Rinsing the filter before use will help remove any loose bits of charcoal, which are harmless.
