The Catalina Bed's outer walls and removable center pillow are made of soft faux suede with a tough 420 denier nylon packcloth base. The walls and pillow are filled with recycled fleece scraps, which will not break down as quickly as the filling used in most other beds. The entire bed can be machine washed and dried without damaging the filling. Additionally, the bed is designed to be flipped inside-out to further extend its usable life.

WHAT ARE "RECYCLED FLEECE SCRAPS?"

Big Shrimpy works with North American clothing manufacturers to utilize their wasted fleece scraps. When clothing manufacturers cut patterns from rolls of fleece, not all of the fleece is used. Over the course of production, this results in truckloads of fleece scraps unusable to the clothing manufacturers. However, the scraps are perfect for Big Shrimpy pet beds! Because the scraps are from clothing material, they are machine washable, just like your fleece jacket. Another benefit of the fleece scrap filling is that fleece is a lofty fabric, not just fluffed fibers. Fleece scraps make a substantial filling for the bed without breaking down like many other materials used to fill pet beds.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

This product are completely machine washable and dryable. For the Catalina bed, remove the cushion from the outer ring before washing. They may be washed in your home washing machine or at a Laundromat. Machine wash warm using a gentle soap that will not irritate your pet's coat. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not over-dry.
