Eagle Pack is a better health food for your cat. 1985 saw the conception of the Eagle Pack Super Premium line of foods by the family-founded company. They invented a way to make more meat meal proteins available to your pet so they would be listed first on the label. In most grocery and utilitarian foods, the predominant ingredient is a grain such as corn. While corn is a good ingredient as a carbohydrate source, it should never be listed first on the ingredient panel. Eagle Pack Super Premium Dry Formulas - How They Formulate

Eagle Pack formulas include over 60 nutrients in each formula. The more ingredients available to them the easier it is to select a natural combination of ingredients to get the perfect protein, fat, carbohydrate, vitamin and mineral, and amino acid levels for a given formula. This allows Eagle Pack to create formulas that are nutritionally solid with "ingredient born", functional food nutrients, so there is little need to add extra synthetic supplements back to the formula.
