Hi everyone. My name is Dyna and I am a beautiful, green-eyed, pedigreed Maine Coon in need of a loving and permanent home. While I have had a very rough life so far, I am still very trusting of humans and have so much love to give.

I was rescued, along with several other cats, from the property of an animal broker who passed away in September of 2003. At the time of our rescue, we were being housed in very poor conditions inside a trailer. Thankfully, the woman who rescued us had a kennel of her own and was able to house us for a time. If it had not been for her efforts, Animal Control would have come to the property and put us down. Unfortunately, accommodations at the kennel were still pretty cramped and our caretaker quickly became overwhelmed with maintaining our cages and keeping us fed and watered. Thankfully, she contacted Maine Coon Rescue for help!

As you can see from my photo, I look like the world's largest Scottish Fold! Unfortunately, I had a bad case of ear mites when I was younger. Left unattended by the animal broker, my big beautiful ears were permanently damaged from all of the scratching I did. They will remain folded for the rest of my life but they certainly make me unique don't you think?

I am a total lovebug and will rub, purr, and beg for more attention. Sometimes I get so excited that I drool when you pet me. I am a very happy girl and walk around with my plume-tail held high all the time! I am also very easy going and get along well with other cats and dogs. I'm definitely not an alpha cat but I'm certainly not a coward either so I would do well in a family with other animals.

If you think I would make a good match with your family, please stop by to visit me and my friends at the Cat Connection and fill out an adoption application.
