About the Winner:
Here is what Gail has to say about her awesome kitty, Tiger.

"My Tiger is very special as she was found newborn right after birth, a wild cat mother left her behind. Her umbilical cord was still attached when I took her home. We don’t know why she was abandoned by her mother. I went online to find out how to take care of her. At 5 weeks we took her to the vet who told us we had been doing a wonderful job raising her.  We kept her under a heat lamp and bottle fed her until she was old enough to eat on her own. She loves to sleep with us and she will only drink running water out of the bathroom sink, she will not drink out of the bowl with our other 2 cats. I think this is because I always washed her in the sink when she was little.

When I am sleeping, I am awakened by her washing my hair as if I were a cat. Sometimes I think she thinks I’m her mother. I have never felt a bonding with a cat as I do with Tiger. Her actions are like a dog, she comes when we whistle or when we call her name, and loves to sleep with us. She loves to play with balls and small stuffed animals which she throws into the air. I find it amazing.

Tiger’s markings are beautiful for a wild cat. When she a newborn, she was not nearly as pretty.  Some people even asked me if she was a rat. She will be 4 years old on September 24th 2008. I don’t know what we would do if something ever happened to her. We have never experienced anything like this in our life. !! It was the most amazing experience!!

My son took the photo of her sniffing the flower from our garden. She normally would have been in trouble being on the kitchen table but to see her in such a special moment.......words cannot describe!!!! We love her very much."

Here is what Jean has to say about her wonderful kitty, Ivan.

"I got Ivan from my local shelter when he was 3 months old. He is extremely playful and very loving.

Ivan's favorite part of the house would be any where he can see outside, so I would say, on one of his three cat scratchers which are in front of windows or in front of the sliding glass doors off the living room. 

His most favorite toy would have to be those little itty bitty mice but, he likes anything that moves really.  He likes bottle caps, like on the top of a Tylenol bottle, or something similar. Twisties would be another.

Ivan does like to cuddle, but on his terms.  LOL.  He follows me wherever I go in the house most of the time, has to be in the bathroom when I take a bath and, on my desk while I use this PC, as he is now. He doesn't want to miss a thing."
