Texas Maine Coon Rescue is proud to present gorgeous Misty for adoption. Misty is a very silly, purebred Maine Coon. She is four years young and loves to play. Misty is a very large, silver, classic tabby girl. She has an adorable habit of sticking her tongue out which makes her look silly as well as occasionally acting silly. Misty wanted a permanent, loving home for Christmas and unfortunately did not get one. Misty gets along well with other cats and well behaved dogs. Please consider adding Misty to your family.

Misty's previous owner passed away due to cancer. No one in the family was able to keep her. Texas Maine Coon Rescue offered to help the family with the pets from this home as the previous owner had several.

Meet Splash –A Handsome Male!

Splash was rescued from a rock in the middle of the Cossatot River in Wickes, Arkansas State Park. The name Cossatot is an Indian word meaning “skull crusher”. The Cossatot River is full of rocks and boulders and is the most difficult river in Arkansas to navigate, even for the most experienced canoers and kayakers. Needless to say, Splash is one lucky cat.

After his perilous rescue from the river, Splash was brought to Cat Connection for some much needed food, rest and relaxation. After a few days of tender loving care from the Cat Connection boarding staff, Splash was checked out by a vet, received his vaccinations and a clean bill of health.

Splash is a very active and affectionate cat. He needs a lot of play time and attention to get his kitten craziness out of his system. He loves the company of other cats to run and play with throughout the day. With that said, Splash is looking for a home that has a socialized cat to keep him busy and happy. He does not do well at home by himself all day and has a tendency to become aggressive due to his boredom. Splash needs a cat a little older and bigger than him that can be a playmate, but able to show him the ropes to becoming a calm, cool kitty.

Hi everyone. My name is Precious, and I am just too cute, how could you not love me!? I am very independent and am in need of a loving home that can raise me well and take good care of me in the new year. I am young, active and am very curious.

I love to rough and tumble in the Cat Connection playroom and enjoy playing with toys of all sorts as well as climbing and jumping on the cat trees. I have tons of kitten energy but can be a little shy upon first meeting. I was found with my mama and 4 other brothers and sisters in the gardening section of a home improvement store. It took awhile for the nice employees there to catch us and hand us over to the wonderful people here at the Cat Connection. It took me some time to get used to the new environment and warm up to the people giving me love and attention. I have certainly come a long way. Since then, I have been checked out by a vet, treated for fleas and worms, been spayed and now have a clean bill of health.

I have made lots of new friends here at the Cat Connection, but really want a home to call my own. I'd especially enjoy a home with another young, active cat to keep me company. Cats Available For Adoption
Cat Connection works only with rescue and adoption agencies to help place homeless cats and kittens. We do not sell cats. You can visit our store Monday through Saturday to see available cats for adoption. You must fill out an application and submit it to the appropriate adopting agency for approval. The average fee to adopt a cat is $95.00, which covers any medical expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, etc).

Cat Connection does not take in cats for placement from individuals or private parties. We only work with rescue and adoption agencies. If you have found a cat or need to re-home a cat, please contact an agency listed here.

Cat Connection participates with the wonderful volunteers of Treasured Friends, Animal Rescue Klub (ARK), Texas CARES, Cat Matchers and Texas Maine Coon Rescue.
