Meet Emmit – He will steal your heart!!
Available at the Cat Connection through July 7th!

Breed: DSH
Color: Black
Sex: Male
Age: 2 years old
Comments: I am current on all shots and have been neutered. I am declawed in the front.

Hi everyone. My name is Emmit and I am an incredibly sweet and loving cat, looking for my forever home. I am a young boy at 2 years old and full of love to give. I am very charming and affectionate and the perfect kitty to make your house a home. My previous owner had me declawed, and I am a rather big boy. How could you not love me?!

I love to nuzzle up close to you and will even giving loving head butts from time to time as well when I am craving your attention. I was rescued from a local shelter on euthanasia day. I love to brushed and loved on so it is no wonder that so many of the employees here have fallen in love.

I am extremely low matienience, relaxed and easy going. I am very much a lap cat but I do love to play from time to time. I also like other animals too, even dogs. I try and make friends with whomever I meet. I also do fantastic around children of all ages.

The nice staff here at Cat Connection will be happy to give you some tips on bringing me into your home. I know I will make a wonderful companion for the right family or person. I hope to have a good home where I have plenty of room to roam and explore. If you think I would make a good match with your family, please come by for a visit in the Cat Connection playroom and fill out an application.

Adoption Agency: Texas CARES
Adoption Fee: $105

Meet Atticus – A Precious Prince!
Available through the Hillcrest Animal Rescue!

Breed: Domestic ShortHair
Color: Grey and White
Sex: Male
Age: 3 months old

This is Atticus. He's an adorable, sweet and loving kitten. He was rescued from a local shelter on the day he was to be euthanized. He has an older injury to his lower lip. The injury must have occurred at only a couple of weeks of age because it has since healed, and does not cause him any problems. Our regular vet thinks it is likely to be only a cosmetic issue. As you can see, even with his silly looking lower lip, he's just beautiful! We think it adds character to the little guy!

Like most kittens, Atticus is very playful, and should go to a home with another cat or kitten to help keep him entertained. He has excellent litter box manners and only uses his scratching post for exercising his right to scratch. He loves to snuggle in laps or curl up next to his foster mom on the sofa. He also loves to be held and kissed. He has a quiet purr, but he definitely knows how to use it.

Atticus has been tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia, and he is negative for both. He is currently on a flea preventative, and has received his Rabies vaccination and first set of shots. He will receive his booster vaccinations, be neutered and microchipped prior to being adopted. If you are interested in adopting Atticus, have questions or would like additional photos, please e-mail hillcrestanimalrescue@hotmail.com.

Please note: Atticus is not available to visit at the Cat Connection. Please visit the Hillcrest Animal Rescue Petfinder Page for additional contact information.
