Hi everyone, my name is Klinger. I am super sweet and looking for my forever family. Everyone I have met here at the Cat Connection has been so great to me. I love to rub up against whoever is in the room. I also enjoy basking in the sunshine in the colorful playroom. I am a very big boy and could stand to lose a pound or two.

I am very much a lap cat and will crawl up and snuggle in before you know it. I am really not fond of other cats as they tend to make me a bit moody. I have been staying at a local vet's office as a house kitty, but it is time for me to have a home of my own seeing as I have so much love to give...

"'Gus' has been an amazing addition to our house. He arrived at our door step the day after we bought our new shop (an old abandoned gas station which we are converting into a print shop). So we decided to name him after the man who built the building — August. It didn't hurt that it was also the month of August, so we will always remember when we got him.

Ironically, I was not a cat person AT ALL until I met Gus. I like to call him my cat-dog. He's definitely not a loner. He loves to be right next to us wherever we are. He chases us around the yard. Plays fetch. He is total lover. We give him kitty massages. He loves to have his belly rubbed and his armpits - yes armpits..."

Congratulations Lilly!

Another year has flown by and we are continuing our tradition of selecting a Grand Winner in our popular Cat of the Month contest here at the Cat Connection. At the end of the year we compiled all 24 winners (including poll winners and CC winners) over the past 12 months. We then held an internal poll from employees and store customers over a two week period. We are proud to announce our third annual Cat Connection Cat of 2006 as Lilly MacDonald. Lilly and her family will receive a $75 gift certificate that can be used online or in store.

Originally, Lilly was the winner of the May 2006 Photo Contest (voted by the wonderful people here at the Cat Connection). Lilly stole the hearts of the Cat Connection employees and customers alike.
