Here is what the owner has to say about their beautiful kitty, August.

"'Gus' has been an amazing addition to our house. He arrived at our door step the day after we bought our new shop (an old abandoned gas station which we are converting into a print shop). So we decided to name him after the man who built the building — August. It didn't hurt that it was also the month of August, so we will always remember when we got him.

Ironically, I was not a cat person AT ALL until I met Gus. I like to call him my cat-dog. He's definitely not a loner. He loves to be right next to us wherever we are. He chases us around the yard. Plays fetch. He is total lover. We give him kitty massages. He loves to have his belly rubbed and his armpits - yes armpits.

He loves, loves, loves his bright yellow catnip banana! It is by far his number one toy. He also goes crazy over his neon colored mice. (We had to get neon ones, so that we don't mistake them for real ones! We live in the country and he is a great mice catcher.) He brings all of his toys to the couch to be 'attacked'.

Since Gus was a barn cat before he came to us, we decided to keep him as an indoor/outdoor kitty. He will dart past you at a million miles an hour and run all the way up the tree. He is quite agile and very, very fast. He prowls through the garden for sneak attacks against unsuspecting sticks and leaves. The absolute best sight is seeing him lying in the sun at the end of the day.

He is so cute - it kills me. I just love him. I've truly been converted."

Here is what the owner has to say about their precious kitty, Prens.

"Prens is the best cat I have ever seen. He runs so fast that you can't imagine. If any foreigner cat attempts to get in our yard, Prens will begin to run after it in a few seconds and never gives up like a samurai. He hates to be alone and always wants to keep the attention on himself. His favorite part of the house is any kind of small boxes around to hang in playing hide and seek. He likes my company too much because he is such an amiable cat. I always try to play with them and he always wants to be loved.

He does not act like other cats but he does have hobbies like sitting near to window and watching outside. He especially keeps his eyes on the birds, and tries to catch them with his paws but unfortunately for him, he is always at the other side of the window.

Most of his time, he likes to play by himself. He can keep himself very happy by playing with a piece of thread or a clew. If you want to see his incredible moves, all you need is a laser pointer. So, I can say that his best toys are clews, threads, laser pointer lights, and birds, which are at the other side of the window."
