About the Winner:
Here is what the owner has to say about their awesome kitty, Baxter.

"Baxter was found as a stray at a friend's apartment when he was 6 months old. He came running into the apartment when someone opened the door and came right up to me and jumped on my lap. He's been with me ever since.

I can only describe Baxter as a cat-dog. He plays like a puppy and needs about as much attention. If you don't pay attention to him for a little while, he'll lie on his back against the wall and meow until you play with him. His favorite toys are any kind of soft ball (which he loves to play soccer with) or his "bee on a string" which is just a toy bee that I tied to a shoelace. His favorite games are chase, and getting soaked with the squirt gun in the bathtub.

Baxter follows me everywhere I go, loves to play in the water and loves to wrestle (strange, I know!). Most of the time when I am at home, he is within a few feet of me or sitting in my lap. At night he usually curls up in a ball at my head until morning when he tries to wake me up by either giving me kisses or going around and opening every closet door and drawer that he can and pulling the contents out.

This photo is of Baxter staring out the front window at the cars passing by. If you look closely at his eyes, you can see the reflection of the street.

Everyone that meets Baxter instantly loves him. He is a very friendly and outgoing animal and will immediately greet new people without hesitation. I feel very lucky to have an animal like Baxter- he is truly a unique cat!"

Here is what the owner has to say about her wonderful kittiy, BJ.

"BJ was rescued from the SPCA by my husband 3 years ago as a birthday gift for me. BJ has been the gift that keeps on giving. He loves to give in many ways....he orders us to feed him exactly when he is ready, he orders us to let him outside to play, he orders us to rub his belly when he is full and he orders us to play at 3am when all is quiet except the glass or plate being knocked off the cabinet and crashing to the tile floor!

BJ loves catnip and loves to play with his catnip mouse.  He sinks his claws into it, stands up on his back legs and throws it across the living room only to run over and pounce it like its a real mouse!  He goes into what we call "attack kitty mode". He will get down really low, ears tucked back and hunt for his catnip mouse! 

One of our favorite play times is generally around dinner time, we call it the Pet 500.  That is when BJ engages in chase with the dog around the couch at top speeds to see who will give up first!  He usually wins!

BJ is a morning snuggle kitty and loves to sleep on our bed.  He is a very loud talker so that is how I usually wake up in the morning.  I can always count on BJ to tell me when it is time for me to get up and feed him.  Sometimes I think he is trying to get me out of bed so he can just take my spot, little sneaker!

BJ is such a special part of our lives. He is so full of spunk and love for his family. He is by far the coolest cat I've ever met...just ask him, he'll tell you!"
