About the Winner:
Here is what the owner has to say about her incredible kitty, Cuddles.

"Cuddles is the most loveable, affectionate and friendly cat one could ever imagine. She absolutely loves to be "cuddled" and and smothered with kisses. She can be very demanding when she wants her tummy rubbed, which is often. 

When we first got Cuddles as a kitten she had some health issues and had to be taken to the vet a lot, even having exploratory surgery. Because what she was eating was making her throw up, she was taken off of cat food and the vet was having us give her jars of Gerber Baby Food Meat flavors. Because of her very flat face she had a hard time eating seeing as when she bent down to eat her eyes and nose would drain and she always acted and sounded like she was choking or drowning. She would sometime end up walking away and wouldn't eat anything. We had to resort to spoon feeding her the jars of Baby Food at the kitchen table. To make a long story short for you, she was finally diagnosed with acid reflux disease and takes 1/2 tablet of Pepcid AC every night at bedtime and has been healthy as can be ever since and is back to eating Cat food again. We think that due to her illness she was always cuddled and babied and was always being baby talked to and smothered with love and kisses - and consequently turned into the sweet loving little girl she is today.

She really doesn't have a special room or place in the house she calls her own. She just wants to be in the room where her people are. She'll follow you around the house, just like a dog, all day long going anywhere her people are going. When she wants to be petted (which is often) she talks to you and then the petting begins. First you start by massaging her head to tail, talking to her as you go. When you're done with that she flops over upside down and wants her belly massaged from her neck to her tail. Then she turns on her side for her side to be massaged too. At last, you think you're done - but NO!!!  She rolls over and wants the other side done too! She's a very funny kitty and has a very sweet loving personality. She has brought our family some very special memories and a ton of smiles and laughs.

Her favorite toys would be her big fat red cat nip tomato and her yellow cat nip banana.  She loves to put them in between her front paws and kick at them with her back claws, and they're always fun to chew on and roll her face over.  She also likes any interactive flying toy on a stick that she can chase and catch from time to time, especially one called Da-Bird.  She always thinks catching bubbles is great fun too, as long as she can talk one of us into getting them out and setting up her bubble blowing machine.

And as you can see, she loves to eat and is getting a little fat - or should I say quite fat! We recently put her on a weight control management food; however, she ended up liking it even better than her regular food. Needless to say, she has yet to lose a single pound!

Here is what the owner has to say about thier wonderful kitties, Angel and Epona.

"Both of these kittens are growing fast and love to play with toys that are on strings. Our son and daughter have lots of fun playing with them this way. When it's resting time, they usually snuggle up together on our rocking chair that you see in the photo.

If it's hotter out, Angel likes to lay spread out on the kitchen floor and Epona loves to crawl up into any open box! It seems no box is small enough for her to climb into. If she does get into one that is too small she is still content to have only half of her body inside it!

Epona & Angel have very different personalities even though they are sisters. Angel is always purring and loves to be held. She will also eat out of your hand. Epona does not care to be held (except buy our ten year old son Ethan), and will not take food from our hands!

These kittens are our kid's kittens. Epona belongs to our ten year old son, Ethan, and Angel belongs to our eight year old daughter, Sydney. They love their kittens very much and are very excited to see they have won the Cat of the Month contest at Cat Connection!"
