Aidan was previously owned but then abandoned in the residential neighborhood of Jay and Anne Horwitz, the owners of Cat Connection. She had been on the streets for a while and was very thin and wary of human contact.

When she was first spotted by a busy bird feeder in Jay and Anne's backyard, Aidan always ran away when discovered but never ventured far from their home. Soon after Aidan's discovery, food, water and shelter were provided and she showed up like clockwork for feeding time. Nonetheless, she would not let Jay or Anne get too close to her or touch her. This ritual went on for about six months until the night of January 1 st . That was the night when Aidan finally decided she could trust again and wanted some love and attention along with her dinner.

Aidan is an incredibly affectionate young girl and needs a loving home. She is very much a loving cat and will come to you when you sit as she loves a good warm lap. She loves almost any kind of loving attention…from petting to playing and even a little singing every now and then will make her purr.

Aidan is not to fond of other cats but would love to have a great human family all to herself. The nice staff here at Cat Connection will be happy to give you some tips and advice on bringing me into your home. Aidan will make a wonderful companion for the right family or person. Cats Available For Adoption
Cat Connection works only with rescue and adoption agencies to help place homeless cats and kittens. We do not sell cats. You can visit our store Monday through Saturday to see available cats for adoption. You must fill out an application and submit it to the appropriate adopting agency for approval. The average fee to adopt a cat is $95.00, which covers any medical expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, etc).

Cat Connection does not take in cats for placement from individuals or private parties. We only work with rescue and adoption agencies. If you have found a cat or need to re-home a cat, please contact an agency listed here.

Cat Connection participates with the wonderful volunteers of Treasured Friends, Animal Rescue Klub (ARK), Texas CARES, KittiCo and Texas Maine Coon Rescue.
