Meet Nubbers - An Irresistible Sweetheart!
Available at the Cat Connection until Feb. 18th

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Color: Black
Sex: Male
Age: 2 years
Declawed: Yes
Comments: I am current on all shots and have been tested for Aids/Leukemia. I have already been neutered as well.

Hi everyone. My name is Nubbers and I am a very handsome, solid black male searching for my forever family. Everyone I have met here at the Cat Connection has been so great to me. I love to bask in the sunshine in the colorful playroom and watch the birds outside.

I was adopted when I was younger and then immediately declawed. My then current family decided to get a small dog. This made me very uncomfortable, especially since I could not defend myself. This experience has caused me to dislike dogs greatly and I will not do well in a house with dogs. I do get along great with other cats, children and adults. I am truly an exceptional cat. When you pick me up, I like to give head bonks while I purr loudly.

I am a total sweetie and would love to find the right home. I know I will make a wonderful companion for the right family. If you think I would make a good match with your family or even just you, please come visit me at the Cat Connection and fill out an adoption application.

Adopting Agency: KittiCo
Fee: $75

Meet Chief – A Handsome Purebred!
Available through Maine Coon Rescue

Breed: Maine Coon
Color: Black
Sex: Male
Age: 14 months
Comments: I am current on all vaccinations and has already been neutered. I am a special needs kitty.

Hi everyone, my name is Chief. I am a purebred Maine Coon with purr-sonality and am CFA registered. I am very mellow and get along well with other cats and well-mannered dogs. I have never been around young children though. I am very sweet, affectionate, and looking for a forever family.

Chief was sold as a breeding cat early in life and recently had a tumor that had been growing in his ear for sometime removed. We are awaiting the results of the testing. When he was younger his ear drum ruptured due to an ear infection that went untreated. The breeder decided not to use Chief due to the problems with his ears and surrendered him to rescue. He is in great health otherwise. A new family needs to be aware that he will have some drainage from his ear but also that it is not serious at this point. He certainly deserves a good loving home.

If you think Chief could be just the kitty to make your house a home, please stop by the Cat Connection in Dallas to visit with him and fill out an application in the store. You may also contact the local Maine Coon Rescue Case Manager, Christie Montgomery, for further information on adopting Albert.  Christie can be reached at (817) 845-1194. We hope to see you soon.

Adopting Agency: Maine Coon Rescue
Fee: $150
