Electric pump circulates water and sends it through an activated carbon filter to eliminate impurities and contaminants for water that tastes cleaner and fresher. Plus, cats and dogs are known to enjoy drinking water that is flowing, so this will encourage them to drink more frequently. It's great for all pets, and especially beneficial for cats that are experiencing bladder or urinary tract problems. Constructed of easy to clean, heavy-duty plastic in a neutral granite look to match most interior settings.

Standard unit holds 6 cups of water. An additional 50 oz. or 70 oz. reservoir (sold separately) may be added to increase the capacity. Carbon filter should be changed every 6-8 weeks (replacement filters, in packs of 3, sold separately).

The Drinkwell Big Dog System is a great way to keep your best friend hydrated.  With an a dditional 70 oz. c apacity reservoir, our Dog System provides over a gallon of fresh filtered water for your pets, which is perfect for dogs small and large.  Dogs love the free falling stream and you will love the convenience of keeping fresh water for your pets!

The Drinkwell Cleaning Kit is a three brush set keeps the Drinkwell Fountain cleaner by getting to those hard to reach places. Just like any other food or water bowl for pets, the Drinkwell Pet Fountain and Big Dog Fountain should both be cleaned routinely in order to keep the product running smoothly and to provide your pet with the freshest possible water. The Drinkwell Cleaning Kit provides product owners with a convenient and easy solution to keep their fountain clean!

Kit contains: 1 2" diameter brush with a flared tip to help clean corners and edges in the fountain housing, 1 5/8" diameter brush that cleans the intake tube and 1 3/8" diameter brush that cleans the inside of the motor cavity.

Drinkwell Pet Fountains Replacement Filters are quick change
filters used to capture debris and filter water to keep it clean and fresh for your pet. Drinkwell Pet Fountain Filter should be changed every six to eight weeks.

Drinkwell Pet Fountains Replacement Filters Instructions:
Remove the housing cover and insert the filter cartridge down into the well in the housing. It fits in the well diagonally. The bottom of the filter is narrower than the top and the black side faces outward (toward the spout). If the fit is too tight, it is either in upside down or in the wrong groove at the front (move it back one groove). Rinsing the filter before use will help remove any loose bits of charcoal, which are harmless.
