Forrest came home to Ravensdale in August, 2004 with Kelly's daughter Jenny as a surprise for the family! Jenny named her Forrest because her favorite movie is "Forrest Gump" and she felt she couldn't name her Jenny because that is her name. The Harris family didn't really know much about cats when they took Forrest in so they didn't know what cats were supposed to do and what they weren't. When Forrest was about 7 weeks old they took her to the beach with them and she did amazingly well. They even started walking her on a leash. Most people will look at them and say “We left our cat at home". Forrest now comes running when the Harris's get into the car, hoping to go for a ride.
