About the Winner:
Forrest and her 2 brothers and sister were found wondering in a field when they were 4 - 5 weeks old. Forrest came home to Ravensdale in August, 2004 with Kelly's daughter Jenny as a surprise for the family! Jenny named her Forrest because her favorite movie is "Forrest Gump" and she felt she couldn't name her Jenny because that is her name.

The Harris family didn't really know much about cats when they took Forrest in so they didn't know what cats were supposed to do and what they weren't. When Forrest was about 7 weeks old they took her to the beach with them and she did amazingly well. They even started walking her on a leash. Most people will look at them and say “We left our cat at home". Forrest now comes running when the Harris's get into the car, hoping to go for a ride. She especially loves rainy days when she can watch the windshield wipers.

Forrest also lives with 3 dogs - a Saint Bernard, a Leonberger, and a Shih Tzu/Dachshund mix named Harry. The Harris Family includes another cat and 4 chickens. While Forrest gets along with all the animals, Forrest and Harry are the best of friends. They enjoy racing around and she loves to pounce on Harry's tail. Forrest's favorite toys are balls or anything that moves. She loves to get into a suitcase and pop out, surprising anything that goes by. Then she'll tuck back in and wait for her next victim to go by! She likes to cuddle anywhere, any time but loves to snuggle up next to her buddy Harry. Her favorite place to sleep is on one of the kitchen chairs during the day when we are all up and about, but at night she can be found in the middle of any one of our beds.

About the Winner:
Isaac was picked out by his new parents, the Marcums, at a local breeder when he was only two weeks old. The Marcums waited several weeks before bringing him home so that he would be completely ready.

Isaac is a fireball of energy he is constantly running from one end of the house to the other pouncing on any suspicious thing along the way. He certainly doesn't let those short legs of his hold him back from anything. As a matter of fact, he is a great jumper and loves to chase after his mom Beth's feet in the early morning hours. He enjoys just about any toy, he has a whole basket full of them. He often finds it amusing to take them all out and scatter them around the house. Everyday when Beth comes home, Isaac comes running to greet her at the door then insists that she pick him up, but after about 5 minutes of snuggling, it is time to play. Beth usually wakes up early every morning except on Saturdays Isaac always wakes up with her. If there is ever a day that Beth sleeps later than he thinks she should, he'll hop up on the bed will go over and sniffs her face and sometimes licks her forehead.

Beth tells us “He is my little ray of sunshine and I don't know what I would do without him.” The Marcums wonder how they ever entertained themselves before little Isaac joined their life and their family.
