Hi everyone, my name is Dovie and I was found near an apartment complex as a pregnant, stray cat. A nice Texas CARES volunteer scooped me up and took me in. Unfortunately, my kittens didn't make it, but I am ready for a permanent home.

I'm very sweet and love to follow my foster mom around the house. I'm outgoing, playful, and absolutely adorable. I am part Manx so I do not have a tail. I love to be cuddled and brushed. You may find me a little shy at first, but that is just because I prefer a quiet, cozy home environment.

I'd do best in a home that understands cats, because occasionally when I get excited, I sometimes “nip”. Therefore, I would be better off in a home with no young children. I don't know how I would do around other cats or dogs either because I have not been exposed to them.

I have made lots of new friends, but really want a home to call my own. I would love to go home with you. If you think I would make a good addition to your family, please stop by The Cat Connection for a visit and fill out an adoption application.

Cats Available For Adoption
Cat Connection works only with rescue and adoption agencies to help place homeless cats and kittens. We do not sell cats. You can visit our store Monday through Saturday to see available cats for adoption. You must fill out an application and submit it to the appropriate adopting agency for approval. The average fee to adopt a cat is $95.00, which covers any medical expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, etc).

Cat Connection does not take in cats for placement from individuals or private parties. We only work with rescue and adoption agencies. If you have found a cat or need to re-home a cat, please contact an agency listed here.

Cat Connection participates with the wonderful volunteers of Treasured Friends, Animal Rescue Klub (ARK), Texas Cares, KittiCo and Maine Coon Rescue.
