Have you seen NoTail? ![]() While searching the net recently I chanced upon a picture of a cute little black kitten. I'd seen a million such pictures on Google Images before but the URL attracted my attention: www.notail.com. Curious I checked it out and the story broke my heart so I thought I'd share it and see if anyone out there can help. Azusa resident Gabriele Baader is casting a world wide web search in hopes of finding her missing cat, NoTail. She has sent mailers, consulted pet detectives, and set up a website, www.notail.com that painstakingly chronicles her extensive search. The site is dedicated to her tail-less cat (he was born that way) named 'NoTail' who disappeared one day last year. Lost cats are very common but it was the owner's tenacious determination and efforts to find her lost cat by using the resources available to her that attracted me to the site. The site truly touched me and we here at the Cat Connection wanted to do whatever we could to assist even if it is only to spread the word. So far, in the past year, Ms. Baauder has spent countless hours and thousands of dollars trying to find her beloved friend NoTail. She has almost literally left no stone unturned. NoTail has been missing since May 2004 from Wanamaker Drive and Glendora Avenure in Covina , CA. NoTail is a medium-sized, solid black, domestic short hair without a tail. He was born with no tail at all, not even a stump! NoTail is 9-10 years old and weighed 13 pounds when lost. He was bottle-raised by Ms. Baauder from the age of 5 days and is very dear to her. If you have any information regarding NoTail, please do not hesitate to contact his loving family. So, if you have the time, please go visit her web site for all the details. You may also consider dropping her a line for a little moral support. I know she'd appreciate it. Our thought and our prayers are with NoTail and Gabrielle. Thank you to all that could take the time to read this and please pass the story on if you are able. http://www.notail.com/ The Cat Connection would like to remind it's customers that the most important thing you can provide your kitty with is a durable, safety collar and ID tag. Even if your kitty is kept strictly indoor, there is always a chance they might slip by you one day. It's always best to be prepared, so be sure to outfit your babies with their own collar and tag as soon as you can. |
