Here is what Barbara has to say about her handsome boy, Imhotep.

"Imhotep is a flame point Devon Rex and he was 1 year old July 6th.  He loves all toys but his favorite ones are ones that squeak. He loves to play and will bring anything back to me that I throw for him to get, just like a dog. He loves to hang with me no matter what room I am in but he adores sitting on the hamper in my bathroom and watching me get ready for work every morning. He loves the outdoor area I built for him, which he can't really go outside but stays in a little area built for him where the natural sun shines through as he's lying on top of his tree house.  Devon Rex's can not go outside; they are SO trusting and love everyone.  He has never met a stranger and allows anyone to hold and cuddle him. 

He is so polite, he has never gone into the kitchen cabinets or any other place he shouldn't. He LOVES to snuggle and wraps both arms around my neck and snuggles his little face in my neck. He runs through the house making chirping sounds and he talks all the time to me. He comes when I call him and he listens to everything I say. If I share a tiny piece of fish with him I will put it down and say that is all and when he eats it, he will get down and won't even beg for another piece.  He's the most respectful kitty ever.

His fur is like a lamb's fur, it is so soft and curly and he doesn't shed. Devon Rex's love to have their tummies kissed, and kissed in general. I give him a trillion kisses a day and he purrs so loudly, it is darling how he loves to be kissed. He's very patient and considerate of the other cats and always waits his turn when getting fed. He loves watching my exotic fish and sometime I hear him talking to the tank. He thinks he's a person.  I highly recommend anyone who adores cats to own a Devon Rex. In many ways they are 1/3 puppy, 1/3 monkey and 1/3 kitty."

"Roxie loves bird watching and hunting for bugs in the apartment.  She also loves splashing around in the bath tub, playing with her toy mice, and getting into things she isn't supposed to be in as showcased in the picture.  She is a joy of a cat and we are both honored to be chosen as the Cat of the Month Winner.
