The Crazy Cat Lady is back!
After months of being sold out everywhere.

This past holiday we released a toy so great, so controversial, and so fun that it was out of stock within weeks. Well now she is back and ready to spread her love to all of the Cat Ladies that are willing to welcome her. It is because of these wonderful ladies that so many cats are able to have a safe, supportive and loving home.

By claiming the phrase "Crazy Cat Lady" on our own terms, we have taken away its power to offend, and have a lot of fun while doing so! We here at the Cat Connection are made up of a majority of Crazy Cat Ladies. Mary Anne has 8, Linda has 6 and the owners have 5 just to name a few.

Dr. Noys: Cats with an Attitude has gone wild!
Introducing the newest additions.

Dr. Noys: Cats with Attitude plush pet toys have been long time favorites among the house kitties here at the store. These soft and snuggly plush shapes feature a pouch to hold "T-Nip" catnip pouches. “T-Nip” is a tea-bag style pouch of premium-grade catnip that fits neatly into the resealable pouch without the mess associated with loose catnip. When the catnip wears out, just add a new pouch to the toy for many more rounds of fun! Each toy comes with 2 pouches and additional pouches are sold separately. The pouches can be frozen to keep the catnip it's freshest. Toys are machine washable when catnip pouch is removed.

Ever been awakened by a cat jumping onto your stomach in the wee hours of the morning? Or had a fat tabby bat at your toes until you rise and shine? Cat owners know the joys of owning a feline alarm clock. It is important to remember that cats do not usually travel well. They usually do not enjoy it, nor do they adapt well to travel. Many people who try to take kitty along with them on their vacation end up spending most of their time searching for their escaped pet.

A Safe Cat is an Indoor Cat

If you want your cat to live a safe, healthy life, keep the back door shut. Letting it outside to explore its wild "roots" is a romantic idea in theory, but it is also a surefire way to introduce your pet to serious diseases, parasites, and physical trauma that indoor cats have a much lower risk of encountering.

"All cats should be indoor-only cats," said Nancy Peterson, spokesperson for the Humane Society of the United States . "Saying that a cat needs to be allowed to roam free outside is like saying that a child needs fresh air and then leaving the toddler unsupervised in the dangers of the outdoors while the parent goes to work."

Denise Hogarth-Nicely - Painter
Denise Hogarth-Nicely was born in 1968 in her hometown of Surrey , England . Her family moved to the US when she was 7 years old and she now lives in Richardson , TX with her husband and two beautiful daughters. She spent 14 years as a professional equistrian in the hunter / jumper field before devoting all of her time professionally to her art career. 

Her favorite subjects to paint and draw are cats and horses. Out of high school, Denise won the Plano Art Association scholarship which took her to UNT. After attending college, Denise has done several commissions but mainly paints for fun.

The National Maine Coon Cat Club will make a donation to the DFW Sheltie Rescue Group (who are providing stewards for our show) and to Kittico Cat Rescue from the proceeds of the show. Spectator admission fees contribute greatly to the size of the donations.
