Each unique piece is designed by the artistic mind of Michael Macone. He has developed a unique process of etching his designs into clay rather than just on the surface with glaze or a decal. This gives each plaque a dimensional quality that can be appreciated with the hand as well as the eye. All colors are hand glazed by the artist and each piece is kiln fired twice to nearly 2000 degrees. This results in a fade-proof, weather-proof work of art that will last a lifetime indoors or out.
