Eating Well...Through Tasty, Whole-Health Ingredients - Duck Meal (Imported) - This is a superb, fresh smelling, protein rich and very tasty meal. It originates from Europe, where more duck is consumed per capita, than in the US. Standards for raising birds are far more rigid than for ducks raised in the US. If you believe in the natural, holistic approach to nutrition, as do we, you will appreciate how these free range ducks are raised. Use of medications of any kind are highly unusual in the European Union. No antibiotics are administered to the ducks or added to their feed, unless a flock becomes ill. The flock is then withheld from the food chain until it is cured and there is no residual levels of antibiotics. No hormones are added to the feed or administered in any way to the ducks. Duck meal protein is the only animal protein used in our Holistic Select Duck Meal and Oatmeal Formula. For those concerned about cholesterol levels, the fat level in the duck meal has been reduced. It is no higher than the fat levels in our chicken, pork, fish or lamb meals.

From kittens to older cats, cats do have special needs; and they are finicky. That's why Eagle Pack cat foods are available in a variety of tasty, concentrated animal protein meals, and several canned meat varieties. Kittens and young cats require higher protein and fat levels. As they age, have been spayed or neutered, or if they are mostly less active indoor cats, protein and fat levels can be reduced. Our hairball Relief Formula is effective for feeding to cats prone to hairballs. Our canned formulas contain about 75% meat and only 4-6% carbohydrates.
